Sample Creativity Workshop

Full Day Workshop 

(morning portion is 1/2 day sample) 

The afternoon of a full day workshop would be tailored to your organization's specific needs.  As one example, the afternoon could focus on making creativity/thinking visible as outlined below.

Documentation Overview-- Discuss ways to document student learning and creativity.  See examples of actual student work, visible thinking spaces and walls, and various strategies for making creativity/thinking visible. 

Documentation Challenge-- A simple challenge to focus on the act of documenting student learning.

 

Process Challenge-- Questions, ideas and connections to provide a deeper understanding of the documentation process.

Thinking Routine Challenge-- Ways to document learning, while growing creative capacities using thinking routines.

 

Process Challenge--  Questions, ideas and connections to provide a deeper understanding of the documentation process.

Closing Celebration-- Thoughts, ideas, roadblocks, celebrations, next steps.
